Aristotle is up to 3-5 unassisted steps at a time, but he is not really motivated to master the skill since he is much faster on hands and knees. I set him down at the park yesterday, and turned my head to watch Libby for about 15 seconds. He was between me and the play structure, standing holding onto the hand rail. The next thing I knew, he'd crawled toward the mass of kids at the swingset, and someone else's concerned father was giving me a "Hey Lady, watch your kid" look, and reaching down to grab him before he was trampled. I quickly retrieved Speedy Gonzalez before he got kicked in the head or anyone had time to alert the authorities.
